In 1996, Japanese death‑photographer Tsurisaki Kiyotaka travels to Bogotá’s Rue Morgue district, a place locals call Hell. Amid rampant murders, the bodies end up at embalmer Froilan Orozco, who has tended the dead for over fifty years. The film follows Orozco as he carefully prepares each corpse for its funeral.
