Prakash, also known as CID 999, is a dedicated CID officer who specializes in solving cases involving gold smuggling. His investigations take a serious turn when the CID Chief reports an alarming increase in diamond smuggling, along with the mysterious disappearance of some top scientists. Determined to crack these cases, Prakash begins tracking down leads, which lead him to his colleague Madhu. From Madhu, he uncovers the location of David, a notorious local kingpin involved in criminal activities.
Disguising himself as David, Prakash is able to set a trap for Lalita, a key figure who possesses the stolen diamonds. In a tense confrontation, Prakash manages to eliminate David and entrusts Lalita’s safety to Madhu. Following this, Prakash heads to a warehouse where David was scheduled to deliver the diamonds, discovers the hidden cache, and immediately alerts the police to seize the stolen jewels. However, upon his return, Prakash is met with shocking news—Lalita has escaped and Madhu is dead.
This tragic turn of events fuels Lalita’s sister, Meena [padmapriya], who vows to avenge her brother’s death and bring the culprits to justice. Using an address found in Lalita’s bag, which turns out to be in Kathmandu, Prakash and Meena form an unlikely alliance, posing as a honeymoon couple to blend into the local scene and continue their investigation. With the help of Monzein [a-e-manoharanceylon-manohar], a trusted friend and fellow agent, they gather clues from antique shops suspected of being fronts for smuggling operations.
As they navigate the bustling streets of Kathmandu, Prakash and Meena face constant danger. Vishwanath, the mastermind behind the criminal syndicate, attempts to assassinate them, but Prakash’s quick thinking allows him to overpower Vishwanath’s attack. In a twisted turn of events, Vishwanath instructs his secretary, Drenko, to befriend Meena. Drenko’s treachery results in the brutal murder of Monzein’s entire family and the kidnapping of Meena herself.
The pursuit leads Prakash to a clandestine hideout, where he discovers a radar atop a remote building—part of a secret facility. Disguised as one of the henchmen, he infiltrates the base and witnesses a shocking discovery: the diamonds are not merely valuable but are being used as a powerful tool. They are designed to generate a beam capable of destroying fighter jets, submarines, and even entire military installations. Prakash’s infiltration is short-lived; he is captured and thrown into a snake cage alongside Meena.
Despite the peril, Prakash and Meena manage a daring escape, where Prakash fights off the henchmen, kills their boss, and destroys the sinister operation. In a final act of defiance, Prakash uses a watch bomb to set the hideout ablaze and ensure the criminals cannot continue their dangerous experiments. Through bravery, quick thinking, and resilience, Prakash manages to thwart a major threat to national security, bringing justice to those involved in the criminal enterprise.
