Set in post‑World War II Britain, a black‑market ring led by gang boss Joseph Calleia is pursued by an American fashion journalist, her ex‑army fiancé, and a crew of toughs from a local gym. When a corpse appears at the Blue Moon Club, American reporter Carole Landis begins investigating, drawing the gang’s ire as a hit man moves in.
