A feedback letter regarding the published article arrives at the Keralarema office. The contents raise questions about the narrative and hint at deeper issues behind Ravi’s case. The letter foreshadows the unraveling of the truth that will be revealed later in the film.

The story shifts to a flashback tracing Ravi Varma as a wealthy owner of a successful advertising agency. Mercy is introduced as a clerk by day and a classical dancer who later joins Ravi’s firm as a model. The agency thrives with Mercy’s modeling skills contributing to its growth.

They meet during a dance program at a club. Ravi proposes Mercy join his agency as a model, but Mercy initially rejects. The encounter seeds a complicated personal and professional relationship.

After losing her clerical job, Mercy becomes the modeling talent at Ravi’s agency due to family responsibilities. Her work helps the agency flourish commercially. Mercy's presence begins to affect Ravi's view of their relationship.

Ajith, a part-time photographer at Ravi's firm, blackmails Mercy by threatening to expose nude images he secretly took. He shows the pictures to Ravi, causing him to misinterpret Mercy as adulterous. Mercy's diary later reveals the truth and disproves the accusations.

Ajith tries to rape Mercy, fatally stabbing her; she dies in Ravi’s arms. Because Ravi was at the scene, the police and the public misidentify him as the killer. Mercy’s diary and other crucial evidence are burnt in the ensuing chaos.
