Sagar alias “Jacky” Mohanlal is a fearless, restless youngster who turns to gold smuggling as a way out of mounting financial trouble, inspired by media stories that glamorize the Bombay underworld. He partners with Sekharankutty Suresh Gopi, the son of the ruling Chief Minister Inchakadu Ramakrishna Pillai, to pull off daring heists. When a rally race turns into a smuggling operation, a blue Maruti car becomes the key vessel for their hoard. Jacky and his trusted aide Lawrence Santhosh stash the gold in the car’s spare wheel, slip past customs, and reach Kayikka Mamukkoya at his house, where the crew relax after a near-miss.

In the tense hours that follow, Qasim and Tony plan one last smuggling run, but there is a traitor among them. The warning from Kayikka doesn’t save them, and Qasim turns on the group, killing Tony and fleeing with the gold. Jacky tracks him down, and in a brutal confrontation, Qasim is drowned. The next day, the police recover Qasim’s body, and Chanakya faces the investigation. Chanakya crosses paths with Aswathy Ambika, a determined reporter for a news magazine who is probing the intertwining of politics and crime in Kerala. At the crime scene, Jeevan Sreenath—the present investigating officer—begins to connect the dots between Jacky’s world and the local power structure.

As the case unfolds, Jacky visits Kayikka and reveals that they have already killed Qasim. Kayikka adds another layer to the story by telling Jacky that his eldest son Shahul has begun selling weed, hinting at a wider web of crime within the region. Yet this news does little to dampen Jacky’s resolve; he returns to Janakiyamma Sukumari, the mother of his beloved Jyothi Urvashi, who is themselves imprisoned for murder. Ashwathy’s articles begin to shake the city’s foundations, suggesting that the Chief Minister may be entangled with Jacky, and this public exposure shifts the balance of power.

The investigation deepens as Sekharankutty uses his influence to bail others out and learns that Jacky had tipped off the police, widening the rift between crime and authority. Pillai, the Chief Minister, grows furious and threatens to crush Jyothi’s world, while Jacky responds with a show of force, warning Pillai to back off and even demanding the reconstruction of the damaged houses. In a chilling turn, Sekharankutty retaliates by killing Lawrence and driving a car into Jacky’s mother, who dies in the attack. Facing a crisis, Pillai orders Sheikhharankutty to leave for Dubai under heavy police protection, but Jacky, ever the trickster, arranges a daring escape by disguising himself as a pilot to sneak into the airport. He closes in on his foe, pursues him through the terminal, and ultimately kills Sekharankutty.

After this violent arc, the story reaches a grim denouement as Jacky is arrested and imprisoned on the very day Jyothi is set for release, leaving the audience with a stark portrait of a man whose ambition propelled him into a world where loyalty, power, and crime are in constant collision.
