In America, 1947, Joe and Kate Keller seemingly have it all: a successful business, a loving home, and two sons. However, their contentment is fragile, marked by the earlier loss of their eldest son in the war. The return of a man from Joe’s past unexpectedly threatens their carefully constructed life, forcing long-held secrets to the light and revealing the true cost of their American dream.
