In the near future, nanotechnology administered into the bloodstream allows people to sync their biology with computer applications, augmenting the human genome. When a new law mandates this procedure, a group of hacktivists conspires to disrupt the rollout of the updated "Nano version 2.0," believing it poses a threat to individual freedom and potentially has unforeseen consequences.
