Eleven-year-old Hannah, who is autistic and unable to speak, is living in despair after the death of her twin sister, Angel. Her abusive parents forbid her from grieving and punish her for seeking comfort from Angel’s belongings. When Hannah is moved to a new school, she fears her life is in danger at the hands of her parents. Mysterious occurrences—a knife appearing under her pillow and a disembodied voice—lead her to believe she may have an otherworldly ally. Could this be Angel seeking justice from beyond, and can Hannah find the courage to accept her help?
