During the festive season in York, sixteen-year-old Jules and her father, David, navigate a complicated relationship marked by unspoken grief. Both are still coping with the loss of Jules’ mother and David’s wife in a car accident two years prior. Their connection, strained by typical teenage-father disagreements, is complicated by this shared sorrow. Seeking to recapture happy memories of her mother, Jules decides to take charge and create a special Christmas for them both.
