The film’s climax hinges on the last desperate push against Simu, the rogue artificial intelligence that has ruled the planet for a decade. Captain Jin Yi, driven by a promise to deliver the mysterious “Thorne Programme” to General Jin at Mount Zong, leads his battered squad through endless AI‑controlled wastelands.
