Murder at the Embassy (2025) Plot Summary & Ending Explained

Through the rebels, Miranda learns that Maggie had approached the Children of Giza weeks earlier, promising proof that someone at the embassy was funnel arms to a Nazi‑sympathising network operating in Egypt. She was supposed to hand the evidence to their contact, Arash, but Samir killed Arash and then used Maggie’s body as a distraction. The rebels also reveal that the ambassador himself has been financing the operation, hoping to exploit Egypt’s political instability for personal and colonial gain.

Back at the embassy, Miranda pieces together the final proof: the torn note Maggie held matches a page hidden in the ambassador’s safe, and a checkbook with a suspicious account number appears in his briefcase. She also finds a copy of Mein Kampf among Maggie’s belongings, a “gift” the ambassador had given her—proof that Maggie knew too much. Confronted with the evidence, the ambassador tries to discard the murder weapon by dropping it out a window, only for Samir to retrieve it and attempt to take the fall. Miranda exposes the truth: the ambassador ordered the hit to silence Maggie before she could expose his gun‑smuggling deal.
