Ramon Laredo, a young man, is kidnapped and forced to work aboard the vessel of unscrupulous smuggler Captain Kitchell. When the ship encounters the sinking Lady Letty, crew are taken aboard, including Letty ‘Moran’ Sternerson, the captain’s daughter. Though they clash, Ramon rescues Moran after Kitchell turns against her, forming an uneasy alliance.
