A young fish market apprentice accidentally drops his seafood meal into a river, unknowingly triggering a series of monstrous events. Soon, a gigantic squid attacks Tokyo, overwhelming the Japan Self-Defense Forces. The situation escalates when a colossal octopus emerges, leading to an epic battle between the two titans. To combat the growing threat, the government establishes the Seafood Monster Attack Team (SMAT). However, just as hope appears, a massive crab monster joins the fray, plunging the world into a chaotic clash of seafood-themed destruction.
