The family moves into a haunted house where their 10‑year‑old son, unafraid because his father writes horror novels, befriends the lonely ghost. The spirit confides that modern, material‑obsessed life left him isolated. The boy and ghost become close, sharing games and stories, and even help the ghost earn his “rent” by scaring neighbors each month.
