Recorded on 18 July 1987 at the Freilichtbühne Loreley in St. Goarshausen, Germany, this concert captures Marillion during the first leg of their 1987 Clutching at Straws tour, when the band was at the height of their mid‑80s commercial success. The show drew a crowd of 20,000 and featured support from Magnum and It Bites (The Cult withdrew). Fronted by Fish, the setlist pulls from their four studio albums to date – Script for a Jester’s Tear, Fugazi, Misplaced Childhood and Clutching at Straws.
