In the final act the glittering world of ManSuang unravels. Master Hong, the son of the club’s owner, steps out of the shadows—having faked his death—to reveal the true conspirator behind the recent bloodshed: his cousin Tiang. Tiang, driven by ruthless ambition, had framed the Tua Hia community as rebels, murdered his own uncle, and engineered the death of Hong’s father in order to seize power alongside Phraya Wichien. When Hong presents the proof of Tiang’s betrayal before the assembled officials and club patrons, Tiang’s treachery is laid bare, and Hong kills him on the spot.

The revelation triggers a desperate response from Wan, Khem’s traumatized friend. Still haunted by his sister’s brutal death at the hands of Chinese gangs, Wan cannot accept the new truth. He seizes a cache of gunpowder stored in the club and threatens to ignite it, demanding that the Tua Hia—and even Hong—be destroyed. In a heartbreaking split‑second decision, Khem lunges and shoots Wan, ending his friend’s life to spare the others and prevent the club from turning into a literal inferno.

With the immediate threat neutralized, the mysterious documents that set the whole plot in motion become irrelevant. Chatra hands the papers over to Phraya Bodisorn, who recognises their potential value for future statecraft and offers the young man a role in the government—a chance to honour his father’s memory. At the same time, both Chatra and Khem are granted freedom, land, and titles as rewards for their bravery. Yet Khem declines the prestige, choosing instead to remain a dancer, the vocation that gives him genuine joy.

The film closes on a quiet note of personal choice: the former orphan‑turned‑hero stays within the world of performance, while the clever drummer steps into a more conventional sphere of influence. Their intertwined journeys suggest that true change can arise from humble origins, but also that the cost of such upheaval can be devastating—embodied in Wan’s tragic end. The final message underscores that selfish ambition harms everyone, whereas selfless action, even when it comes from the lowest rung, can reshape a nation’s destiny.
