Near‑sighted Mr. Magoo is heading to the bank to make a deposit, but he accidentally boards a bus headed for a horse‑race track. Confusing the betting windows for teller windows, he places wager after wager on long‑shot horses and keeps winning. When the track finally ejects him, he departs with a bag of winnings, proudly believing the profit came from compound‑interest growth.
