In a gritty Los Angeles neighborhood, Hank, a poetic recluse haunted by paranoid delusions of sadistic doctors, rappers and spiders, hasn't left his apartment in six months. After being dumped and left homeless, a well‑meaning woman crosses paths with him when a mis‑dialed phone booth connects them. They agree to meet, and together they confront their personal demons—her trouble with a local gang and his isolation—finding an unexpected connection.
