Upon arriving in the United States she discovers three R’s that dominate her new life—Romance, Rejection and Rock ’n’ Roll. When her visa expires, a young Japanese immigrant in San Francisco agrees to a marriage of convenience with a Japanese‑American man, hoping to stay in the country and avoid deportation while navigating love and cultural clash.
