Ollie is passionate about playing the tuba, but his loud practice annoys the townsfolk. Seeking solitude, he retreats to the countryside, where his music startles the cows during milking. Undeterred, he takes a boat and practices at sea to avoid bothering anyone. When a ship threatens to crash on rocks, his powerful tuba playing alerts the crew and averts disaster, earning him the gratitude of the town and turning him into a local hero.
