Following his daughter’s development, filmmaker Alexandre Mourot explored the Montessori method and documented a year at the oldest Montessori school in France. The film offers a glimpse into a unique environment for children aged three to six, filled with flowers, fruits, and learning materials. Children freely choose activities, from reading and baking bread to doing math and resting, while the teacher observes discreetly. Through this immersive experience, Mourot captures the children's autonomy, self-esteem, and the potential for a more peaceful future.
