Laure Grenadier, a former starred chef, now works as a food critic for her online channel. She maintains a careful distance from her ex-partner, Nicolas Garnier, a police captain, and father of their daughter, due to his affair with a younger woman. When a series of crimes target restaurant owners in Lyon, Laure's carefully constructed life is disrupted. Recognizing the value of Laure's insider knowledge within the city’s exclusive culinary scene, Nicolas and his new assistant enlist her as an informant, despite her emotional involvement—her uncle is the first victim.
