King Kong Lives

A decade after the events of *King Kong*, the giant ape is kept alive at Atlanta University. With the help of an artificial heart, a team of doctors, led by Amy Franklin, struggles to maintain his health amidst his failing original organ.

Adventurer Hank Mitchell ventures into the heart of Borneo and discovers a colossal female ape, who shows an immediate affection towards him. During the encounter, locals attempt to capture her using tranquilizer darts, allowing Mitchell to seize the opportunity.

After confirming his discovery, Mitchell agrees to transport the female ape to Atlanta University. The university intends to use her for plasma in King Kong’s surgery, hoping to save the legendary creature's life.

Upon arriving at the university, Lady Kong is placed in a warehouse while her new habitat is being constructed. Despite her confinement, she senses the presence of King Kong, deepening the bond between the two.

The medical team successfully replaces King Kong's heart, bringing him back to consciousness. Upon awakening, he realizes Lady Kong is nearby, igniting a fierce protective instinct within him.

As efforts to move Lady Kong commence, her distress invokes King Kong's wrath. He breaks free from his confinement and creates havoc, determined to rescue his female counterpart and vanishing into the wilderness.

The U.S. Army, commanded by Lt. Col. R.T. Nevitt, moves to recapture the giant apes, complicating Amy Franklin's and Mitchell's attempts to keep them safe. Tensions rise as the military places significant obstacles in their path.

Despite King Kong's protective efforts, the Army successfully sedates Lady Kong. As he rushes to her aid, military forces resort to bombing the area, capturing Lady Kong while King Kong is seemingly defeated.

King Kong leaps in a desperate escape attempt but suffers a critical head injury, leaving him presumed dead. Lady Kong, now confined in an abandoned missile silo, mourns silently for her lost companion.

Hank Mitchell returns from Borneo with plans to acquire land for both Kongs. Disturbed by Lady Kong's deteriorating condition, he confronts the university staff to seek answers regarding her perilous plight.

Despite being presumed dead, King Kong survives in the swamps, feeding on alligators. He becomes aware of Lady Kong's distress calls and sets out determinedly to rescue her from captivity.

King Kong encounters a group of hunters who attempt to kill him using dynamite. Their plan backfires as Kong retaliates, ultimately killing the hunters in a fit of vengeance, reinforcing his determination to save Lady Kong.

As Franklin and Mitchell plan to rescue Lady Kong from the military's grasp, they discover that she is pregnant. Chaos ensues during the rescue attempt as Lady Kong goes into labor amidst the army's relentless attack.

In a majestic display of strength and ferocity, King Kong fights off the military forces, avenging his mate and culminating in a climactic battle where he ultimately succumbs to his injuries after witnessing the birth of his son.

With King Kong's sacrifice, Lady Kong and her newborn son are returned to Borneo. Their journey symbolizes the ongoing legacy of King Kong, ensuring that the memory of the great ape lives on with his family.
