KHOJ (2025) Plot Summary & Ending Explained

Ved Khanna’s frantic search for his “missing” wife ends in a bleak confession. After filing a missing‑person report, Ved is confronted with a woman who looks and sounds like Meera, yet he insists she isn’t his spouse. The police, suspecting something far darker, plant a police officer — Kavita Mistry — as a faux Meera to provoke a reaction. As Ved’s anger spirals, investigators uncover a hidden pen‑drive, a damaged DNA test and, finally, the car that carried Meera’s body into the jungle.

The truth emerges: during a violent clash the night after his birthday, Ved pushed an already unstable Meera, causing her to fall and die instantly. In a panic he hides her body, and the subsequent “impostor” was a ruse to force him to reveal what he had concealed. Confronted with the evidence, he breaks down and admits that the woman in his house could never be Meera because she is dead—his own doing.
