In the climax Linga finally follows the strange, turmeric‑stained log into the forbidden part of the forest that his ancestors abandoned centuries ago. Guided by the mysterious steel suitcase his grandfather left him, he discovers a hidden manuscript that reveals the tragic history of his line: the once‑proud king and his son had summoned the demon Asura Dakshi to defeat the Kalinga kingdom, only to unleash a curse that has haunted their descendants ever since.
Armed with this knowledge, Linga and his loyal friend Muthi press on and stumble into a cavern where the ancient treasure, weapons and a sacred deity of the Kalinga dynasty lie. The cavern is also the lair of Asura Dakshi, a flesh‑eating monster that has been feeding on anyone who dares enter the woods. As they try to retrieve the relics, Bali— the cruel village head who had given Linga the extra two acres as a trap— and his men ambush them, hoping to kill Linga and claim the riches.
Before the battle can turn against Linga, the demon attacks Bali’s gang. In a grisly reversal, Asura Dakshi rips Bali apart, echoing the ancient myth of Narasimha devouring the tyrant Hiranyakashipu. While the monster preys on the villagers, Linga, bolstered by the blessing of Goddess Prathyangira Matha that he receives for trying to right his forebears’ sins, seizes the sword hidden in the cave and slays the creature. The death of the demon frees Muthi and ends the immediate threat to the village.
The film closes with Linga standing amid the recovered gold, land deeds and sacred relics— the wealth his family had stolen from Kalinga now rightfully in his hands. Yet the credits reveal a chilling twist: Asura Dakshi does not remain dead. It fashions a new body inside the same cavern and attempts to possess a villager, only to be stopped by a sorceress who had earlier given Padhu a protective black thread. This lingering menace hints that the battle between the ancient curse and the living is far from over.
