What Happens at the End of Jack?

In the climax Pablo “Jack” Neruda finally confronts the terrorist mastermind Ata‑ul‑Rahman. After a chaotic cat‑and‑mouse chase that sees Pablo outpace the official RAW team, the RAW officers—including the seasoned agent Manoj—are ambushed and taken prisoner on a moving train. Rahman’s true aim is not a strike on Indian soil but the systematic elimination of the very agents who guard the country.
Jack races ahead of the RAW convoy and boards the train, using the skills that have earned him his nickname “jack of all trades”. He fights his way through the armed guards, eliminating each terrorist one by one. While doing so, he uploads the entire cache of the organization’s intelligence to the Indian authorities, giving them the evidence they need to dismantle the network in a single sweep.

With the train cleared and the data secured, the RAW team is rescued. The agency’s chief, impressed by Jack’s audacity and effectiveness despite his unorthodox methods, offers him a permanent position in RAW—fulfilling the promise that his mother’s sacrifice and his own yearning for purpose had set in motion.
The film hints at a personal resolution as well: Afshan, the detective hired by Pablo’s father, has grown from a spy‑seeker into an ally. Their brief encounter earlier in the story suggests that they will continue working together, possibly as partners in future covert missions.
Thus the ending ties together Pablo’s tragic loss, his rebellious spirit, and his newfound legitimacy as an intelligence operative, while leaving a hint of a budding partnership with Afshan to carry the story forward.
