The theatrical ending of Hostel offers a grim yet cathartic conclusion to the harrowing ordeal of Paxton. After narrowly escaping the Elite Hunting Club, a mysterious organization that kidnaps and tortures tourists for sport, Paxton seizes an opportunity for retribution. He spots the Dutch Businessman—a client who previously tortured and murdered Paxton’s friend Josh—at a train station. In a decisive act of vigilante justice, Paxton follows the man into a restroom and kills him.
