A baby kangaroo escapes from its zoo cage and wanders through the city, eventually stumbling onto Sylvester’s house while the cat is using a fishing rod to hunt mice. Mistaking the marsupial for a giant mouse, Sylvester reels it in and makes a series of slap‑stick, humbling attempts to capture it, only to be outwitted at every turn.
