Successful M&A attorney Sophie Marlow returns to Waynesbridge, Washington after her great‑uncle Henry dies, inheriting a 60% stake in his Marlow Maple Meadows, a vast sugar‑maple forest. While revisiting her childhood land, she meets Sam, a long‑lost friend who holds the remaining 40%. Though a quick sale seems likely, both discover they aren’t ready to give up the place that shaped them.
