In 2016, filmmaker Dan Elswick began documenting the final US tour of the hardcore band BANE. Initially intended as a tribute, the project evolved into a deeper exploration of the band's journey and the challenges they faced. For two decades, BANE attracted a dedicated fanbase with their honest music and personalities. However, the pressures of balancing personal lives with the demands of a music career eventually led them to make a difficult decision: to end the band with a final album and tour. The film examines the band's artistic process, the impact of their music on fans, and the struggles of maintaining a life of meaning and relevance.
