Kumar, Bijon, Ajam, and Animesh decide to visit Uzbekistan for a lighthearted romance. They lie to their wives and relatives about the trip and plan to depart for Tashkent via Delhi. The group hides their true intentions to avoid questions at home.

Animesh's pishi arrives from their hometown on the same day, triggering a scramble. To avoid suspicion, the men disguise themselves as foreigners traveling to Samarkand while awaiting a layover in New Delhi. Bijon discovers that the flight they planned to take has been hijacked, heightening their unease.

Upon reaching Tashkent, they meet Lola, their travel guide, and go on a city tour. Bijon mentions the hijacking incident, which shocks the others. They watch the news in their hotel room, learning that Uzbek authorities have labeled them hijacking suspects and ordered their arrest.

Wives arrive in Tashkent and stay in the same hotel, further complicating an already tense situation. The group decides to flee to Bukhara to avoid arrest. The news and authorities' pursuit intensify, creating paranoia and danger for everyone.

The Indian government activates RAW with local police to arrest them, tightening the net around the four men. A chaotic chase through the city ensues as the wives close in and the group scrambles to stay ahead. Lola's intervention helps them avoid capture.

Lola helps guide the group as they manage to flee toward Bukhara. The quartet navigates Uzbekistan while trying to stay off the radar of authorities and wary wives. The plan seems precarious but hopeful as they reach a safer destination.

In Bukhara, media paints Ajam as the apparent ringleader of the hijack plot. The four men regroup, determined to clear their names. Animesh proposes a bold plan to infiltrate the hijacked aircraft to rescue passengers.

With Lola and the Uzbekistan Army, they prepare to enter the hijacked plane through the cargo hold. Bijon's nerves falter when he feels lightheaded after an accidental head hit. They breach the aircraft and prepare to confront the hijackers.

Inside the plane, they corner the hijackers and rescue the passengers. They quickly nab a hijacker carrying a fake rifle, while the other hijackers are subdued. The leader opens fire, but Lola guards Kumar and the group presses on to detain him.

The group returns to Kolkata where they receive a hero's welcome from the state government and media. They are officially declared RAW agents, changing how they are perceived at home. The journey from fugitives to national symbols marks a dramatic turnaround.

Back home, the husbands reconcile with their wives and celebrate their survival. Bijon's two wives decide to stay together, despite his earlier multiple marriages. He quips that he can marry for various reasons, underscoring a light-hearted ending.

The four men are celebrated as heroes, and the film closes on their new status as RAW agents and family men. Their adventure tightens their bonds and alters their personal lives. The final frame leaves the audience with a sense of resolved chaos turned into patriotism.
