Havaldar Balkar Singh, Captain Dhananjay Shergill and Lieutenant Sahil Naqvi were killed in the 1999 Kargil war, each leaving a final letter for loved ones—Kuljeet Kaur, Squadron Leader Vikram Singh and Dr. Naqvi. Three years later IBN reporter Avinash Sarin discovers the letters and gives them to two Indore slackers, Ali Shah and Sameer Suri, to deliver to Chandigarh, Manali and Leh. They film the journey to earn a degree and persuade Indian youth to avoid military service.
