Eric works as a cow milker at the Milk Raj cooperative, his days filled with the melancholic sounds of Bach echoing through the milking parlor. He's a young man who left behind a career as a photographer and distanced himself from his family and friends, finding himself in an industrial town. There, he meets Marissa, a prostitute working in a local nightclub, and an unlikely friendship develops between them. Both are searching for their place in the world, seeking connection and meaning in their lives.
