Haunted Road

In the quiet hours of a night road, seven friends—Xuelian, Zengliang, Huazi, Haojian, Ningmeng, Xiaotian and Dudu—are racing toward a wedding, their conversation light and full of youthful anticipation. The journey takes an unsettling turn when they glimpse the aftermath of a recent car accident. Their decision to keep moving, driven by a mix of self‑preservation and youthful indifference, becomes the quiet catalyst for a night that soon feels far removed from ordinary travel.

As the group’s own vehicle sputters to a halt, the remote roadside service area transforms into an eerie liminal space. The ordinary hum of fluorescent lights and the metallic scent of gasoline mingle with a growing sense that something unseen is watching.
