Three lives become entwined in a cramped urban district. A mother, struggling to find work, and her 30‑year‑old son, who feels adrift in contemporary society, share a fragile bond. When the mother falls seriously ill, the son is forced to assume adult responsibilities he lacks. A woman enters his world, and he manipulates her in the tangled game with his mother.
