Seventy-year-old Alvin Tan is a reclusive man who dislikes Singapore's heat. After his nature-loving wife passes away unexpectedly, he isolates her for over a year, citing Covid as the reason. While trying to return home from her funeral, Alvin develops claustrophobia and is unable to use the elevator or stairs. Wandering the streets, he encounters Alice, a sugar baby, and is drawn into the world of sugar daddies and babies. He becomes known as an elderly man unable to return home, earning money simply for conversation and companionship. The film follows his late-night talks with several women as he confronts his inability to return to his apartment.
