In Geub, Philippe Geubels discovers his wife has left him for charismatic Dutchman William Van Bronkhorst, thirty years older and remarkably unflappable. Humiliated, the popular Flemish comedian leans on his mother Sonja for advice and fresh laundry. His friends—technician Dikke Dirk and pal Pannenkoek—try to cheer him up, but their efforts barely lift his spirits.
