A man with no prior criminal record shockingly attacks a money transporter and immediately surrenders to the police, baffling authorities. While incarcerated, he encounters Fuad, a suspicious and ruthless Arab inmate shielded by his clan. To get closer to Fuad, the man becomes involved in the prison's drug trade, placing him between warring factions of German and Arab prisoners. He finds an unexpected connection with prison guard Susanna, unaware that she is entangled in Fuad’s criminal activities and has a personal relationship with him. Driven by grief, he seeks retribution for the death of his wife and daughter, who were killed in a hit-and-run accident perpetrated by Fuad.
