Frantz Fanon

A vivid portrait of Frantz Fanon, the Caribbean‑born psychiatrist whose incisive analyses of black alienation reshaped anti‑colonial thought. The film traces his shift from intellectual reflection to active participation in Algeria’s independence struggle, ending with his early death from leukemia at 36 on December 6 1961. He is buried in Algeria’s Chouhada cemetery beside his key works — “Black Skin, White Masks,” “L’Année de la Révolution Algérienne,” and “The Wretched of the Earth.”
