Franklin (2022) Plot Summary & Ending Explained

The standoff spirals as Zein, furious and desperate, goes after Edward to retrieve Yulia – the woman who has become the only person Adam trusts. He kills Edward, brings Yulia to the hospital, and confronts the district attorney who has been colluding with the criminal network. At the same time Nasmeh, a figure from Adam’s past, reveals that Zein is actually his long‑lost brother, turning the siege into a bitter family showdown.

In the chaos a fellow officer, hidden in the ward, fires at Adam, incapacitating him and giving the police enough leverage to free the hostages. The missing donor heart is recovered, Yara’s operation succeeds and she survives. Yulia slips away with the stolen cash, using it to pay the medical bills and whisk Yara off to Italy, hinting that the two women will start a new life far from the violence.
