A promising lawyer, on the verge of becoming a judge, is driving his fiancée when they are involved in a fatal car accident. Jenny awakens to discover the other driver has died, and she is charged with manslaughter. Her fiancé, Daniel, manipulated the scene by placing her behind the wheel to conceal his involvement. Determined to clear her name and reclaim her life, Jenny attempts to persuade the deceased driver’s grieving widow of her innocence. However, she soon realizes Daniel is desperately trying to bury the truth and protect his career.
