Nicholas, the elder son of a wealthy suburban family, hides a double life: his mother, a helicopter‑working businesswoman, juggles deals and an affair, while his cheerful yet alcoholic father is confined to his room with a dog and a model train. Unknown to them, Nicholas works as a window‑cleaner and dishwasher in a Paris café, where he falls for the owner’s daughter, who is trapped with an abusive boyfriend. One night he brings drunken drifters to the family wine cellar, and his father surprisingly bonds with a stranger.
