In a cut‑throat world, Raimundo Nonato survives by cooking. As he moves through various social levels, his culinary talent sharpens alongside his knives, and he eventually falls in love. The film weaves a witty, adult fable about power, sex and ambition, using food as a clever allegory for survival.
