Estella Scrooge is a ruthless Wall Street tycoon known for foreclosing on properties. As a Christmas treat, she plans to personally inform a hotelier in her hometown of Pickwick, Ohio, that his mortgage is due. Upon arriving at the Harthouse Hotel on Christmas Eve, she’s shocked to find the mortgage is held by her former sweetheart, Pip Nickleby. Pip has turned the hotel into a refuge for those in need. A sudden snowstorm traps Estella at the hotel, and like her ancestor Ebenezer before her, she is visited by three unexpected guests.
