Feeling constantly dismissed as foolish, a weary every‑man decides to turn the tables on society. He adopts the persona of a Brazilian manosanta, a folk healer who claims to cure illnesses, and begins to treat people with the same contempt he has faced, offering questionable cures and exploiting their belief in his supposed powers.
