Caroline Darian reflects on the devastating tragedy that impacted her family. For a decade, her father drugged her mother, Gisèle Pelicot, enabling rapes carried out by strangers he found online. The documentary sheds light on the disturbing issue of chemical submission, where abusers—often people close to the victims—use medications to facilitate crimes. This practice affects a wide range of individuals and is a far more prevalent problem than many realize.
