A Bikolano devotee, Mando, is injured while in the forest near Mayon Volcano. He is found and cared for by a mysterious woman named Salome, and they develop a deep connection. However, Salome is bound by a curse that prevents her from leaving the forest, a secret that threatens to shatter Mando's love. Relying on his faith in the Virgin of Peñafrancia, Mando seeks to understand the link between love and devotion and hopes to lift the curse.
