Despatch (2024) Plot Summary & Ending Explained

Joy finally gets his hands on the incriminating GDR file after a tense meeting with Wadhwa’s lawyer, who unknowingly records their conversation. The file proves that the GDR construction group, its parent company Stonedome, and the media house that is about to acquire his newspaper, Savera, are all intertwined. When Joy confronts the owner of the law firm, he realizes that the very boss who hired him has also sold out to the same powerful network he’s been chasing.

With the evidence in his possession, Joy plans to flee the city with his colleague Prerna and publish the story, hoping the exposure will bring the whole conspiracy crashing down. Instead, Prerna disappears without a word, leaving Joy alone and exposed. He hastily hands over his financial documents to his brother, aware that his life may be forfeit.
