Following her mother’s death, Dawn returns to Nova Scotia seeking reconciliation with her estranged father, John Andrew. As Dawn focuses on restoring an old tractor, a shared passion for mechanics becomes a catalyst for healing. However, deeply rooted resentments surface, creating tension. John Andrew must confront his own prejudices and publicly support his daughter as she faces transphobia within their small town, ultimately realizing that repairing their relationship requires him to acknowledge and address his own shortcomings.
