Karl-Heinz, a filling‑station attendant, his retiree wife Herta, drugstore manager son Kurt and divorced daughter Margot book a holiday at Club Las Piranjas hoping to unwind. Instead, the two overbearing animators, Edwin and Biggy, and the perpetually drunk club chief, Mrs. Wenger, who cares only about avoiding complaints, sabotage any fun. The rundown resort lacks basic comforts—no water in the pool and bizarre activities run by the staff—turning the getaway into a nightmare the family is eager to escape.
